Accent lighting

If you want to highlight or accentuate something in your home or your garden, give accent lighting a try. Once you use the correct lighting, you could make something as simple as a tree or a piece of art look beautifully important.

A green lamp at the base of a big tree in your garden will highlight the nature around the lamp, giving off a lovely look in the garden at night. Another idea for the garden is to highlight your smaller plants. Little white fairylights work really well at both accentuating the plant as well as creating a warm and pretty atmosphere.

For inside the home, show off a painting that’s hanging in your lounge or room by positioning an LED downlighter above or below it – the painting will be completely illuminated exactly how you want it to be so that attention is drawn to it.
